Why? Because it's a one-woman show and that one woman does not have the resources to keep up with a manuscript slush pile. The solicited pile is more than enough reading. No Tell Books solicits manuscripts from a small percentage of poets whose work appears in its kissing-cousin publication, No Tell Motel and The Bedside Guide to No Tell Motel anthology series. Submitting to those publications (when their reading periods are open) is the way to get a sample of your work to the editor. If she's interested in seeing a full-length manuscript and has book slots available, she will contact you. No Tell Books does not run book contests or charge reading fees. No Tell Books does not earn money on anyone's desire to be published. Nor does it receive grants, government funding or donations. No Tell Books earns money by selling books. Selling really kick-ass poetry books. Press Press Press Site Design: Nancy King Technical Support: Chris Morrow
